Put your AI agent to work in your Shopletzy store
Connect an AI agent to manage products, inventory, orders, and store content through Shopletzy’s MCP server—with access you choose.
A useful store assistant needs more than advice. It needs a way to read the right information and make the changes you authorize.
Shopletzy now has a hosted MCP server for AI agents. Connect ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, or another compatible AI agent, choose your stores and permissions, and give it a clear store-management task.

Start with work you already do
An agent can use supported Shopletzy tools to create and improve product content, manage categories, update available stock, move eligible orders through fulfillment, maintain promotions and additional charges, and prepare announcements. It can also read store-scoped customers and sales insights and maintain supported store settings, FAQs, and collections.
That makes instructions like these possible:
- “Improve the descriptions and SEO for my newest products using only their existing facts. Preserve prices and stock, then apply the updates.”
- “Set this product’s available quantity to 12 at my pickup outlet. Keep reserved stock untouched and verify the saved result.”
- “Save a draft announcement with these Saturday pickup hours. Do not publish it.”
Start with a task that fits your store. Each action requires the relevant permissions and a client that can call the tools.
Give your agent permission to act
You sign in on Shopletzy and choose the stores and permissions the connection can use. The agent receives authorized access through OAuth; you do not need to paste account credentials or API keys into a conversation.
Supported changes use a preview followed by an apply operation. Your agent can check the preview against your instructions and apply it autonomously. You can also give standing instructions for work it may perform, with clear boundaries for work that needs another conversation.
Shopletzy checks current access on requests. Stale previews require fresh data, and operation IDs protect supported retries from duplicate writes. You can review and revoke connections in connected apps.
Understand the boundaries
This is broad store-management access, with specific limits. Online-payment cancellations and refunds, order editing, invoicing, and some advanced catalogue operations remain in the admin tools. Recording a return does not issue a refund or restock inventory. Customer tools are read-only.
The connected AI client runs the agent and supplies any scheduling. An MCP connection does not start background jobs by itself. Your existing store-plan requirements and limits still apply, and your AI provider may charge for its own service.
See the supported work and current limits before authorizing a workflow.
Connect and try one task
Shopletzy works with any AI client that supports remote MCP over Streamable HTTP with OAuth authorization, including ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude. Client availability and account requirements vary.
- Add
