How to Create a Free Online Store in India

What kind of free store do you get?

Your Discover store has a shareable page within Super Web, including your store details, product catalogue, and checkout. Customers can open your link in a browser without installing an app. They sign in or create an account at checkout. Customers can also shop through the Super app, where nearby discovery, follows, and announcements help them stay connected to stores.

1. Prepare your business details

Choose the store name customers already know. Write a short description explaining what you sell and where you serve customers. Have your contact details, logo if you have one, and fulfilment information ready.

For a home bakery, for example, useful details include your delivery area, pickup arrangements, and how much notice you need. Avoid promising delivery or availability you cannot support.

2. Create your Shopletzy account and choose Discover

Get the Shopletzy merchant app, create your account, and choose the free Discover plan. Shopletzy is the app you use to manage your business. Super is the web and app experience your customers use to shop.

Add your store details and follow the setup requirements shown in the merchant app. Creating an account is the first step; make sure setup is complete before inviting customers to order.

3. Add products customers can understand

Start with a small, accurate catalogue. For each product, prepare:

• A clear product name and price.
• Photos that represent the actual product.
• A description covering size, quantity, materials or ingredients where relevant.
• Variants or add-ons when customers need a choice.
• Accurate availability.

For example, “Chocolate cake — 500 g” is more useful than “Special cake.” Explain relevant ordering conditions in the description so customers do not have to message you for every detail.

4. Complete fulfilment and payment setup

Configure the delivery or pickup options and supported payment methods that fit your business. Check that the areas you serve, operating hours, and product prices are accurate.

Discover charges no Shopletzy transaction fee. Payment-provider fees may apply when you accept online payments. Delivery, packaging, domain purchases, and other business costs are separate from the free subscription; plan for the costs relevant to your operation.

5. Review the customer experience

Open your Super Web store link on a phone. Check that the business details are correct, product photos are clear, and the catalogue is ready. Review the steps through the cart and checkout before promoting the store, including customer sign-in and your configured fulfilment options.

6. Share your store link and keep it active

Open the Shopletzy merchant app regularly to keep your Discover store available for orders. An inactive store may stop accepting new orders or be hidden from discovery until you return and restore availability.

Free forever versus a free trial

Discover has no trial expiry and no required paid upgrade. Your core store remains on the free plan; optional paid plans add capabilities such as a standalone storefront on your own domain. You do not have to choose a paid storefront to let customers order through Super Web or the Super app.
